As a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will oversee significant and intricate improvement initiatives or projects, utilizing project management and continuous improvement methodologies to achieve impactful results. This position works closely with key leaders across the Institute or Enterprise to comprehensively manage CI activities and projects. You will also provide instruction and mentorship in continuous improvement and project management across all organizational levels. Your role will involve applying the Cleveland Clinic Improvement Model (CCIM) to enhance the capabilities of caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:


• Independently guide operational teams in understanding the Cleveland Clinic Improvement Model (CCIM), focusing on organizational alignment, visual management, problem-solving, and standardization.

• Develop and sustain CCIM program initiatives within the designated area, leading large or complex projects by employing advanced continuous improvement and project management tools.

• Educate, coach, and mentor leadership and frontline caregivers on continuous improvement best practices.

• Enhance the capabilities of customers and CI team members by analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing processes to create sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements.

• Manage a portfolio of significant improvement activities, capturing measurable outcomes.

• Research best practices within and outside the organization and apply insights to the assigned area.

• Lead, train, and advise on the collection and analysis of process data to develop and recommend practices that enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency.

• Establish effective working relationships with individuals at all organizational levels to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

• Track and maintain success metrics in collaboration with the CI Program Director.

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability within a team environment.

• Identify organizational needs, develop, and execute plans to address these needs while applying the Continuous Improvement model.

• Assist CI I and CI II in navigating organizational dynamics.

• Utilize a customer-oriented approach to align support tools and services with stakeholder needs.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to drive decision-making for business success.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Master's Degree preferred; alternatively, 6 years of process improvement experience or a Lean Certification may be considered.

• Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Certification preferred.

• Minimum six years of business or healthcare experience.

• Experience in process improvement or project management roles.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.

• Healthcare experience preferred.

• Proven ability to teach, coach, and influence leadership on continuous improvement principles.


Physical Requirements:

• Walking and standing as necessary.

• Adherence to standard precautions and use of personal protective equipment as required.


Compensation:

• Minimum hourly: $44.53

• Maximum hourly: $67.92

The displayed pay range reflects the anticipated range for new hires. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work history, experience, skill set, and education. This does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package, which encompasses healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement options.
