Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead the organization's strategic vision and direction, working closely with the Board of Directors, key partners, and staff to drive health improvement initiatives and community development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives, aligning with the Metro Health Foundation's mission and vision.
  • Oversee the development and management of the budget, ensuring financial sustainability and advising the Board on financial matters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, healthcare providers, and funders, to advance the organization's mission and goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of health improvement initiatives, including quality improvement methods, data analytics, and community-based programs.
  • Collaborate with clinical and data experts to measure and analyze data, informing strategic activities to drive health system and regional population health improvements.
  • Design and manage an organizational structure, staffing, and contractual relationships to effectively deliver the organization's products and services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of partnerships, including healthcare systems, public health agencies, and community-based organizations, to advance the organization's mission and goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of senior-level leadership experience in a health-related field, with a track record of effectively leading, achieving outcomes, and reporting on large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Strong business development skills, including business acumen, strategic planning, and financial management experience.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of constituencies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery and value-based payment system trends, locally, and at state and national levels.
  • Strong operations management experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding key performance indicator targets related to organizational effectiveness.
