We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and improving CNC programs, ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to control CNC Lathe and CNC Mills.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications to determine the sequence of operations.
- Conduct regular tests and inspections of programmed CNC machinery to ensure functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the production process.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Maintain detailed records of each machine's programs and modifications.
- Train and guide machine operators on new programs and modifications.
- Implement and adhere to safety and compliance procedures.
- Continuously research and implement new programming methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, specifically with CNC Lathe and CNC Mills.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Excellent knowledge of the properties of metals and other materials used in manufacturing.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.
- Relevant certification or diploma in a related field would be a plus.
