About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our team at Brooksource. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of IT projects and programs, aligning with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple projects, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report project progress, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Scrum Facilitation: Lead scrum events, ensuring team collaboration and productivity.
  • Backlog Management: Manage project backlogs, ensuring items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for implementation.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles.
  • Proficiency in Project Management Methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence across teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data management practices and principles and their incorporation into project management activities.
  • Understanding of the technical project lifecycle and phases, including SDLC.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field, or at least 6 years of experience in portfolio, program management, and/or project management roles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Data Analytics and Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Microstrategy).
  • Familiarity with Big Data Concepts (e.g., Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, NoSQL databases).
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and Technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Expertise in Data Management or Analytics Software (e.g., Informatica, IBM, Oracle).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).
