Position Summary
Foster Care Program Manager; LISW-S or LPCC-S
Compensation: $70,000-75,000
The Foster Care Program Manager is responsible for supervising designated personnel and ensuring adherence to the program's contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative coordination for program contracts while actively pursuing growth and expansion within local markets through strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide clinical oversight for regional services, including individual, family, and group counseling, as well as individual supervision of assigned staff. Manage Diagnostic Assessments, treatment plan formulation, and representation in treatment team meetings and other relevant gatherings on behalf of clients. Review and authorize all documentation produced by Treatment Coordinators and Treatment Advocates.
- Lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, offering training and support to team members across the region.
- Collaborate with Treatment Coordinators to arrange services for youth in the community, encompassing mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
- Assign advocate services when authorized, regularly monitoring the progress and status of the youth's advocacy component, making necessary adjustments as appropriate.
- Coordinate and develop curriculum activities.
- Manage all intake services, initial documentation, and record-keeping.
- Facilitate mediation services when authorized, consistently reviewing the progress and status of cases.
- Conduct mediation sessions as required.
- Maintain monthly productivity standards.
- Represent the organization through public appearances and presentations as needed.
- Provide on-call services and work with children, adults, and families as required or assigned.
- Collaborate effectively with other programs and staff throughout the organization.
- Review and sign off on all Incident Reports and other necessary documentation, ensuring submission for processing in accordance with agency policy.
- Submit weekly updates to the Executive Director.
- Perform all duties in alignment with personnel policies and the program's financial guidelines.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years of direct experience in the human services sector.
- Current professional licensure as required; Ohio LISW-S or LPCC-S.
- Relevant experience with individuals served through the child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems.
- Knowledgeable in group facilitation and mediation practices and principles.
- Training, education, and/or experience in the following areas:
- Family facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution.
- Strengths-based assessment and planning.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Good driving record.
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 for bodily injury liability.
