Position Summary:

As a Technical Support Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics equipment. This position involves:

  • Executing installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics instruments, primarily focusing on Dimension and Vista Chemistry products.
  • Delivering timely and effective repairs while providing comprehensive training to operators to maximize system efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing financial performance within your designated territory, ensuring revenue targets, expense control, and effective inventory management are met.
  • Overseeing company assets, including a vehicle, communication devices, and tools.
  • Establishing and nurturing professional relationships with clients and colleagues while accurately performing necessary administrative tasks.

  • Experience in cultivating and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Expertise in utilizing tools and service testing equipment.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma; a technical Associate's Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer, specifically in servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in customer relations and resource management.
  • Strong knowledge of instrument systems technology, including mechanics, electrical systems, chemistry, and software.
