About the Role:

HITT Contracting is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Project Executive to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing commercial construction projects from discovery and design to development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adherence to HITT's standards of safety and ensure all job processes are followed in accordance with HITT policies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients and monitor the progress of each project through updated schedules.
  • Ensure that the project Quality Control Plan is followed and assist project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractors.
  • Properly assign and evaluate field personnel both within the project team and throughout the company.
  • Identify and negotiate time extensions where justified and allowed, and acquire new work as well as maintain existing clients.
  • Maintain positive relationships with the subcontractor community and ensure timely completion of closeout process.
  • Lead the preconstruction and RFP package effort with the help of the Preconstruction Department and/or other company resources.
  • Delegate responsibility when necessary to ensure that the project/tasks run smoothly.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Prior healthcare construction project experience required.
  • A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
  • Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneously.
  • Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards.
  • Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings.
  • Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
  • Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $205,000.00. Compensation in other cities and states may vary. HITT Contracting offers a competitive total benefits and compensation package including performance-based bonuses, premium health care coverage including vision and dental, employer-matched 401(k), wellness reimbursement program, paid holidays and time-off, and other voluntary benefits and leave types.
