We are in search of a skilled Senior Construction Project Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, and will demonstrate a strong capacity for teamwork, which is essential for success in this role. Please note that H1 Visa sponsorship is not available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and expedite necessary submittals accurately.
- Process shop drawings and maintain updated logs.
- Prepare and follow up on client Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Monitor and update project schedules in collaboration with project Superintendents.
- Participate in project meetings, which may include taking minutes.
- Assist in maintaining comprehensive project files.
- Support quality control measures and the punch list process.
- Assist in the coding of time cards, invoices, and receipts.
- Review and approve payment applications from subcontractors.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and manage the subcontractor database.
- Assist in the compilation of bid documents.
- Participate in project walkthroughs as necessary.
- Support the development and tracking of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for subcontractor pricing.
- Assist in the preparation of competitive bids.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction-related role. Proficiency in construction management software is essential, along with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, work independently, and proactively address and resolve issues is crucial. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and Procore is required.
