Position Overview:

The role of the Project Executive encompasses the comprehensive management of both minor and major construction projects, guiding them from initial discovery and design through to development and execution. This position includes all responsibilities typically associated with a Project Manager, along with additional key duties:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold HITT's stringent safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational processes in line with HITT policies.
  • Negotiate contractual terms with clients effectively.
  • Track project progress through updated timelines.
  • Guarantee adherence to the project Quality Control Plan.
  • Assist project staff in resolving scope-related issues with subcontractors.
  • Oversee the assignment and evaluation of field personnel within the project team and across the organization.
  • Identify and negotiate justified time extensions.
  • Acquire new projects while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Maintain strong relationships within the subcontractor community.
  • Ensure the timely completion of project closeout processes.
  • Lead preconstruction efforts and RFP package development with support from the Preconstruction Department and other resources.
  • Delegate responsibilities as necessary to ensure smooth project operations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years in commercial construction, with experience in a commercial general contracting environment.
  • Experience in healthcare construction projects is essential.
  • A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business from an accredited institution is highly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Proven experience in project management, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in sector-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
  • Expertise in interpreting and updating construction drawings.
  • Ability to organize resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
  • Understanding of current market conditions, including pricing trends.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and decision-making capabilities.
  • Positive attitude and passion for the construction industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proactive in seeking responsibilities and opportunities for improvement.
  • Commitment to integrity and adherence to HITT's core values.

In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the base salary range for this position is between $155,000 and $205,000. Compensation may vary in different locations.
