Position Overview:The role of the Project Executive is to oversee both small and large-scale construction projects from initial concept through to completion. This position encompasses all responsibilities typically held by a Project Manager, along with additional key duties:
Key Responsibilities:- Uphold HITT's safety standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with HITT's operational procedures.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients effectively.
- Track project progress through updated timelines.
- Adhere to the established Quality Control Plan for projects.
- Assist project teams in resolving scope-related issues with subcontractors.
- Ensure appropriate assignment and assessment of field personnel.
- Identify and negotiate justified time extensions.
- Cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Foster positive interactions with the subcontractor community.
- Oversee the timely completion of project closeout processes.
- Lead preconstruction efforts and manage RFP submissions with the Preconstruction Department.
- Delegate responsibilities as necessary to ensure smooth project operations.
- A minimum of 10 years in commercial construction, particularly with a general contractor.
- Prior experience in healthcare construction projects is essential.
- A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred; however, relevant experience may substitute.
- Proven experience in project management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in sector-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
- Expertise in interpreting and updating construction drawings.
- Ability to organize resources effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Awareness of current market trends and pricing conventions.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Initiative and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
- Commitment to integrity and adherence to HITT's core values.
