Position Overview:

The role of the Project Executive is to proficiently oversee both minor and major construction projects from inception through to completion. This position encompasses all responsibilities of a Project Manager, in addition to the following:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold HITT's safety standards consistently.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational processes as per HITT's policies.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients effectively.
  • Track project progress through updated timelines.
  • Guarantee adherence to the project Quality Control Plan.
  • Assist project staff in resolving issues related to subcontractor scope.
  • Oversee the assignment and assessment of field personnel within the project team and across the organization.
  • Identify and negotiate justified time extensions.
  • Develop new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Foster positive interactions with the subcontractor community.
  • Ensure the timely completion of project closeout procedures.
  • Lead preconstruction efforts and RFP package development with support from the Preconstruction Department and other resources.
  • Delegate responsibilities as necessary to facilitate smooth project operations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with a commercial general contractor.
  • Prior experience in healthcare construction projects is essential.
  • A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business from an accredited institution is highly preferred; however, substantial work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management with the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in sector-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
  • Expertise in interpreting and updating construction drawings.
  • Ability to organize resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
  • Awareness of current market conditions, including pricing trends.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and passion for the construction industry.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly, with the ability to present complex information succinctly.
  • Proactively seek responsibilities and demonstrate integrity aligned with HITT's core values.
  • Commit to continuous self-improvement and knowledge enhancement.
  • Recognize and implement quality standards in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Adapt to evolving technologies, designs, and methodologies.

In alignment with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the base salary range for this position is:

$155,000 - $205,000. Compensation may vary in different locations.
