Position Overview:

The Primary Care Medical Director will oversee the clinical operations within the primary care sector. This role is essential for ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care, managing clinical personnel, and executing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Clinical Leadership:**
  • Deliver primary care services to adult patients on-site, employing an interdisciplinary approach.
  • Supervise and support primary care and family practice providers.
  • Participate in a rotating 24-hour phone-based call system for urgent patient communications and hospital admissions.

2. **Quality Improvement:**
  • Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, service excellence, and program expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to represent our organization in relevant forums and coalitions.

3. **Teaching and Training:**
  • Mentor students, residents, and medical staff during elective rotations.
  • Maintain eligibility for medical staff credentialing by obtaining a minimum of 50 CME credits annually.

4. **Administrative Duties:**
  • Conduct interviews, training, and performance evaluations for clinical staff.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities such as quality assurance and compliance audits.
