Job Overview

The Field Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing and coordinating the workforce in the field to achieve maximum efficiency, performance, and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to the Company's commitment to safety and uphold its core values.


Maintain high moral standards while representing the Company, in line with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.


Work closely with the project management team to create and sustain construction project timelines, budgets, performance indicators, and progress reports; may manage client submissions and approvals.

Direct and engage in the staffing and maintenance activities of field personnel, including recruitment, onboarding, promotions, and terminations.


Oversee staff in the effective use of materials, facilities, and equipment; evaluate staff performance and compile summary reports of site activities for stakeholders.

Coordinate and organize all agency requirements to ensure compliance with relevant building and safety regulations. Monitor and maintain necessary state and city certifications.

Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and operational practices. Address inquiries and clarify policies as needed. Document violations and suggest corrective measures when necessary.

Foster a safe working environment for all personnel. Aid in the implementation of safety training and orientation programs.

Identify and resolve operational challenges as they arise.

Assess procedures and equipment requirements to implement the most efficient methods for managing workload.

Supervise the maintenance, repair, procurement, and utilization of field construction equipment.

Manage and allocate construction overhead budgets.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in construction; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Proven experience and comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, including technology, equipment, and methodologies.

Demonstrated ability in planning, organizing, and staffing projects.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Capable of collaborating effectively with customers, field workers, engineers, and project managers.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents such as codes, specifications, drawings, and reports, and develop work plans for specific projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Physical/Special Requirements:
Occasional overtime and frequent travel between job sites may be necessary. The role involves standing and walking for short periods, but most tasks are performed seated.

May require occasional lifting, pushing, or carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds, such as files and documents.

Normal work requires finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.

California law mandates pay information in job postings. The typical hiring range for this position in California is as follows:

The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other influencing factors.

As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one end of this range, and in certain circumstances, may exceed the listed hiring range.


Hiring range:
$140,000 to $175,000 per year
