The Senior Field Operations Supervisor (SFOS) position is essential for the execution, oversight, and management of Field Operations. The SFOS's primary responsibility is to advocate for and implement the SafetyIQ Program, which embodies our commitment to a secure and healthy work environment. This role will supervise our regional in-house workforce during job site activities and project execution. The SFOS will collaborate with assigned teams to carry out lighting retrofits and electric vehicle charger installations, which include switch gear panels, transformers, EV charging stations, and protective bollards, while engaging with local authorities, electrical inspectors, utility providers, and managing full electrical infrastructure. The SFOS will assist the Project Development team in defining project scope and proposing effective solutions. Additionally, the SFOS will work alongside Project Management to ensure adherence to schedules and project performance. This role demands a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong communication skills, both internally and externally. The SFOS will also provide leadership and mentorship to foster the growth and technical development of the team, ensuring unity and collaboration among team members. All team members are expected to work together in a safe, positive, respectful, and professional manner. This position will coordinate schedules with assigned project managers and report directly to the Director of Construction. Compliance with SitelogIQ's safety policies and regulations is mandatory.

Travel is a requirement for this role, which may include executing projects, attending client meetings, conducting site visits, performing field verifications, reviewing permits, and walking through sites with customers.

Target Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 annual salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Field Operations Supervisor
  • Oversee field supervision for project execution, providing expertise and guidance on safety, compliance with regulations, quality assurance, and adherence to company policies.
  • Conduct job site safety inspections and inform senior management of any unsafe conditions along with recommended corrective actions.
  • Execute LED lighting retrofits and EV charger installations, including switch gear panels, transformers, EV chargers, protective bollards, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Facilitate understanding and compliance with governing jurisdictions.
  • Manage permitting, inspections, and compliance across multiple states, from pre-construction activities to final project closeout.
  • Interpret and apply industry standards (NEC, IEEE, ANSI, UL, BSC).
  • Ensure employee and vendor safety in accordance with OSHA regulations, and promote the Safety Program through influence, education, and example.
Support for Project Management and Development
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope from the Project Manager, including any available plans or documents.
  • Verify scope, material requirements, and develop an installation plan for the project, communicating this plan to all technicians and installers.
  • Oversee field installation of project scope, ensuring compliance and timely completion of all work.
  • Provide regular updates to the operations team regarding project progress, installation variances, workforce resources, equipment rentals, and deviations from the contract project scope.
  • Close out projects, conduct quality assurance inspections, jurisdiction inspections, and final verification of scope and quality.
Field Execution Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of field execution, including job sites, company resources, project solutions, troubleshooting building systems, and allocation of resources.
  • Possess a working knowledge of building and facility systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, including reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, panel plans, single line diagrams, and structural plans.
  • Understand assigned tasks and the associated time constraints.
  • Effectively communicate task completion, progress, and quality to Project Managers and direct supervisors.
  • Perform job tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications for the Senior Field Operations Supervisor
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of electrical experience is required.
  • Must maintain an active driver's license with a clean record and have reliable transportation to job sites and office locations.
  • Ability to obtain an EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program) certification.
  • Possess a current California C-10 electrical license and be willing to obtain additional electrical licenses in other states through direct state testing and reciprocity.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to move or lift 75 lbs. unassisted.
  • Able to withstand varying temperatures typical in an outdoor environment.
  • Position requires significant time spent standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
  • May require climbing ladders and/or working from heights.
Travel Requirements
  • Position requires 55-60% travel to regional projects and other states, based on business needs, including overnight or out-of-state travel.
