POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Supervisor oversees the daily technical management and functionality of a suite of software applications. This role ensures systems are consistently operational, enhances process automation, boosts the efficiency of the Operations team, implements industry best practices, and provides expert technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate team collaboration to address service disruptions and operational challenges.
  • Lead diagnostic, recovery, and root cause analysis initiatives, coordinating with application leads for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Identify and recommend best practices to enhance operations, including automation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT Director, system users, and external consultants to optimize the use of managed systems.
  • Install and test software and hardware, training users on new voice and data applications or guiding vendors in these processes.
  • Set up new or advanced workstations as required.
  • Ensure robust data security, backup, and storage protocols are established and maintained.
  • Guarantee all users are equipped with the necessary technical tools and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Create comprehensive 'How-To' documentation for IT staff and users.
  • Respond to user requests for technical assistance (Help Desk and/or Desktop Support).
  • Generate reports and documentation regarding the performance and health of various clinical systems.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical systems' performance, providing recommendations based on industry standards.
  • Manage inventory and asset tracking, ensuring all IT equipment is properly tagged and accounted for.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in computer network technology.
  • Experience in Healthcare IT is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite or Office 365.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of current IT technologies.
  • Familiarity with various IT components, including email systems, firewalls, client-server architectures, network security, and protocols.
  • Experience in computer and printer maintenance and repair.
  • Background in developing and implementing standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications.
  • Ability to manage projects effectively, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Physical capability to perform essential job functions.
