Role Responsibilities:

As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will take charge of your installation team. Following guidance from our Installation Manager, you will direct your crew and ensure the execution of professional installation projects. Your hands-on involvement will encompass a variety of HVAC and refrigeration systems. It is essential to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality while delivering outstanding customer service.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience, seeking growth and enhanced support
  • Commitment to executing tasks correctly on the first attempt
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey basic maintenance advice to clients
  • Passion for mentoring and training junior technicians

Key Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems for residential clients
  • Diagnose and rectify issues with electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC units
  • Ensure proper inventory management, tools, and safety equipment usage
  • Guide and educate apprentices, providing them with practical learning experiences
  • Identify service challenges, procure necessary parts, and calibrate systems according to manufacturer specifications
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills to address technical, logistical, and scheduling concerns
  • Deliver quality workmanship with integrity, adhering to company policies and values

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of field experience in HVAC
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficient with technology, including tablets and work-related software
  • Proven ability to create quotes for repairs and installations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret blueprints and manuals
  • Demonstrated experience in installing and servicing HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings
  • Availability to work weekends or on-call shifts as necessary
