Role Responsibilities:

As the Lead Installer for HVAC systems, you will take charge of your installation team. Following directives from our Installation Manager, you will guide your crew and ensure the execution of professional installation tasks. Your hands-on involvement will be crucial as you work with a diverse array of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Your primary responsibility is to guarantee that installations are performed correctly, safely, and in alignment with the high standards set by Degree Heating & Cooling, all while delivering outstanding customer service.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant field experience, seeking a supportive environment for professional growth.
  • Commitment to completing tasks accurately on the first attempt.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to convey basic maintenance advice to clients.
  • Passion for mentoring and training less experienced technicians.

Key Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential clients.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues related to electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems.
  • Manage inventory, tools, and safety equipment effectively within the work vehicle.
  • Provide mentorship and training to apprentices, fostering their development.
  • Identify service problems, procure necessary replacement parts, and calibrate systems according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills to address technical, logistical, and scheduling challenges.
  • Deliver quality workmanship with integrity, adhering to company policies and values.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the field.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficient with technology, capable of utilizing tablets and learning job-related software efficiently.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing quotes for repairs and installations of HVAC systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret blueprints and manuals.
  • Proven track record in installing, replacing, and servicing HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings.
  • Willingness to work weekends or on-call shifts as required.
