Winter Sports Administrative Coordinator

Position Summary
The Winter Sports Administrative Coordinator will deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients, while maintaining a professional demeanor and respect towards all staff members. This role will report to the Director of Winter Sports and the General Manager to support daily administrative functions related to winter sports operations. This is a seasonal, full-time position during the winter months.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the administrative duties of winter sports programs, including but not limited to human resources documentation, payroll processing, record management, and guest registration.
- Manage the distribution and tracking of departmental uniforms.
- Exhibit a high level of customer service skills, providing effective communication and assistance to guests.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays, arriving on time and prepared for all assigned tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure the safety, security, and enjoyment of all guests.
- Communicate the lesson process clearly to parents or guardians of children.
- Possess a basic understanding of proper fitting and sizing of rental equipment.
- Accurately describe various levels of skiing and snowboarding to students of differing skill levels.
- Provide advisory support to the Director of Winter Sports and the General Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma is preferred.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with individuals and groups.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Maintain a calm and pleasant demeanor when interacting with all guests.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with Google applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and manage moderate weights.
- Requires dexterity in arms, hands, and fingers, including the ability to grasp, as well as visual acuity for using a keyboard and reading technical information.
- Availability to work during holidays and weekends.
