About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team at the Carol Milgard Breast Center. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and medical history to ensure accurate registration and scheduling of appointments.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including answering phones, responding to patient inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Payment and Billing: Collect payments from patients, process billing, and maintain accurate records.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including preparing documents, scanning, and filing.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent, related experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in administrative software and systems.
Working Conditions

This is a 1.0 FTE position, working 40 hours per week, with varying shifts from 6:30AM to 6:30PM, Monday to Saturday. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
