Position Overview:
The role of the Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) is essential in delivering outstanding patient support and communication. As an HUC, you will be instrumental in facilitating patient care, overseeing processes, and enhancing service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations and communication tasks
- Assist in delivering care to patients from various backgrounds
- Employ critical thinking and effective communication skills
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Director and nursing staff to ensure the best patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Unit Secretary training program or current enrollment in a clinical education course
- Prior experience in patient care or administrative roles within a healthcare environment
