Position Overview:
The Registration Specialist at Tranow serves as the initial point of contact for patients and clients, embodying the welcoming spirit of our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless experience for all individuals visiting our facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and registering patients for radiology services, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Verifying patient insurance details and personal information, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed for various procedures.
  • Processing account payments efficiently.
  • Managing routine administrative tasks such as document scanning, organizing referrals, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Monitoring communications through email and adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.

Compensation and Benefits:

New hires can anticipate a competitive hourly wage of $21.11, commensurate with experience and skills. Additionally, Tranow provides a 15% pay differential for Per Diem employees.


Work Environment:

This is a Per Diem position, requiring flexibility to work across various Tranow locations. The schedule is structured between 6 AM and 7:30 PM, with shift differentials available for eligible shifts. Per Diem employees are expected to fulfill a minimum of 2 shifts or 16 hours monthly.


Essential Qualifications:

Education:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and training.

Skills:
Candidates should possess:

  • A foundational understanding of radiology procedures.
  • Familiarity with CPT codes and radiology information systems.
  • Strong customer service abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.

Licensing:
A valid driver's license in the State of Washington or equivalent mobility documentation is required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
This role requires moderate physical activity, including the ability to assist patients of varying weights and stand or sit for extended periods. Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information are crucial in this position.

Work Conditions:
The work environment is typical of an office setting, with potential exposure to communicable diseases and limited exposure to ionizing radiation. The responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may evolve as needed.
