Role Purpose:
As the HR Program Manager, you will take charge of managing project challenges and risks while leading teams with urgency and a commitment to quality. Your role will involve engaging and influencing key stakeholders to ensure readiness for organizational change. You will collaborate closely with the IT Project Manager and HR Transformation Partner to set shared objectives and delegate tasks based on team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multifaceted program that integrates various work streams, design information flow, and monitor progress against a comprehensive set of milestones and deliverables, ensuring quality outcomes within defined time and budget constraints.
  • Establish consistent communication channels and facilitate meetings, providing written updates on timelines, budgets, resources, deliverables, and results to internal project teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Initiate, plan, and guide teams through challenges, acting as a change agent to drive performance and achieve project success.
  • Develop and implement a project roadmap and management framework using Veolia's standard tools to promote high-quality delivery and foster self-sufficiency within the team.
  • Identify and address risks that may affect project execution and success, developing solutions for complex issues and creating risk mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee communication strategies and change initiatives to cultivate a network of advocates that generate enthusiasm for the transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including executive management, HR, and IT, to manage expectations and deliver desired outcomes.
  • Ensure the availability of supporting materials, such as training programs and change management activities, to facilitate the successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on project deficiencies and implement corrective actions, ensuring follow-up with key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing program delivery.
  • Engage actively in change management practices to achieve optimal results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in managing large or complex HR projects with multiple work streams from initiation to completion.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong customer focus and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation models and HR Information System implementation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively without direct authority.
  • Experience working in a global organization with a focus on executive collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives, demonstrating flexibility in dynamic environments.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience leading organizational changes.
  • Proficient in data analysis and process management.
  • Effective communication skills across various formats, including presentations, meetings, and written correspondence.

Certifications:
Formal training in project management methodologies, such as PMP or CAMP, is preferred.

Work Environment:
This role primarily operates in an office setting, with occasional evening or weekend hours as project needs arise. Travel requirements are approximately 25%.
