General Overview:

  • 9-13 years of expertise in DX11/DX12/Vulkan technologies.
  • Seeking a Graphics Developer or a proficient C++ Developer.
  • Experience in Embedded Software systems, C programming, RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems), and strong debugging capabilities are essential.
  • Prior experience in developing or supporting Graphics drivers for standards like OpenGL or Direct3D is advantageous.
  • Embedded software development for 3D graphics tailored for compute and mobile devices. Collaboration with software, hardware, and systems teams to develop and support compliant and optimized solutions is expected.
  • Performance profiling experience in DirectX/Vulkan games is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 6+ years of Software Engineering or relevant work experience.
  • OR a Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 5+ years of Software Engineering or relevant work experience.
  • OR a PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of Software Engineering or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Database Management Software.
  • 3+ years of experience with APIs.
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity, with or without direct reports.
  • 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or other Source Code Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes advanced software knowledge and experience to design, develop, modify, and validate critical embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
  • Analyzes user requirements, software specifications, and time and cost constraints to design and customize sophisticated software for optimal operational efficiency.
  • Designs and implements software subsystems for complex, large-scale products and systems.
  • Leads design, coding, and testing efforts to ensure that projects are completed according to specifications and timelines.
  • Conducts highly complex code reviews and regression tests, as well as triages and resolves issues to ensure code quality.
  • Collaborates with individuals outside the software function (e.g., Hardware, Systems, and Test engineers) to enhance leverage and design solutions that integrate with other components of a specific project.
  • Creates detailed technical documentation for highly complex software projects; reviews technical documentation produced by junior engineers.

  • Operates independently with minimal supervision.
  • Decision-making is critical and significantly impacts program, product, or project success.
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May involve negotiation, influence, and tact.
  • Holds a moderate level of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., consulted by senior leadership for key decisions).
  • Tasks often involve multiple steps that can be performed in various sequences; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization are necessary to complete tasks effectively.
