Position Overview:


This role is integral to the engineering and design efforts that support the efficient operation of our electric distribution, generation, and storage systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams within the organization and engage with external partners to develop and implement technical projects as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will:


- Engage in complex technical tasks independently, while also addressing intricate customer inquiries.

- Contribute to the Circuit Planning group for Low Voltage Distribution (LVD), which oversees the planning and management of electric distribution facilities. - Perform both office and field duties related to the assessment and enhancement of electric distribution circuits, including project management and reliability initiatives.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, with a minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience.

- Proficiency in design and calculation software, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail. - Familiarity with electric utility distribution planning, construction, operation, and maintenance practices.


In this role, you will also:
- Analyze and synthesize various technical and policy-related information to address complex system planning challenges.

- Anticipate the effects of decisions on multiple systems and a broad customer base. - Follow established procedures while demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness in problem-solving. - Interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project scopes and timelines. - Manage customer expectations and resolve performance-related issues while providing updates on project statuses. - Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, serving as the primary liaison for all engineering project matters. - Conduct a variety of engineering tasks using computer-assisted design software and equipment. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications throughout project execution.
Additional Information:
- You will be responsible for preparing specifications for electrical equipment and estimating costs for project budgeting. - Engage in continuous improvement efforts and assist in training junior staff as needed.
