As a member of the Audio Systems and R&D team, you will engage in software development for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research in audio technology and develop software for reference designs and intellectual property.
Design, develop, prototype, and commercialize innovative audio features and technologies on Qualcomm platforms.
Optimize audio algorithms for DSP and ARM architectures on Qualcomm SoC devices.
Analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and test audio algorithms.
Implement algorithms, conduct acoustic performance evaluations, validate machine learning models, and create demo prototypes with thorough documentation.
Support technology productization and collaborate with marketing teams, customer engineering, and commercialization efforts.
Perform technology assessments and competitive analysis.
Qualifications:
A robust foundation in audio signal processing is essential.
Proficient programming skills in Embedded C/C++ are required.
Experience in software development on embedded platforms is crucial.
Familiarity with DSP architecture, real-time operating systems, and software design methodologies is necessary.
Experience in both fixed and floating-point implementations of audio algorithms, audio system design, and acoustic measurements is preferred.
Knowledge of Python, Matlab, machine learning tools, and audio module development is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering.
Alternatively, a Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience or a PhD with a minimum of 1 year of experience is acceptable.
