Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all phases are meticulously planned and executed, including coordination of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
  • Enhance project profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to deadlines.

Essential Duties:
  • Oversee multiple projects of varying scales with minimal oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications during the submittal process.
  • Collaborate with the General Superintendent to allocate appropriate manpower.
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors effectively.
  • Guide and mentor team members on company policies and operational standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance, aiming for zero accidents.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Negotiate pricing and procure high-quality materials and equipment.
  • Handle all necessary permits, reviews, and approvals, ensuring clear communication among team members.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to contracts and safety standards.
  • Maintain client relationships during warranty periods and oversee project closeout processes.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and accurate billing.
  • Review and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor job costs closely to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Participate in necessary meetings, including pre-construction and project review sessions.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and closeout documentation is completed.

Qualifications:
Mandatory:
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Able to interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or sheet metal.
  • Relevant professional certifications and licenses.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
