Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring all elements are addressed, including planning, coordination, execution, and budget management.
  • Enhance project profitability by identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to deadlines.

Essential Duties:
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications during the submittal process.
  • Collaborate with the General Superintendent to allocate resources effectively.
  • Supervise and schedule subcontractors as required.
  • Provide mentorship to team members regarding company policies and operational standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Negotiate pricing and procure necessary materials and equipment to optimize quality and margins.
  • Complete all required documentation, including permits and change orders, while keeping the team informed of updates.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding warranty work and project closeout procedures.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of billing processes.
  • Review project plans and specifications thoroughly.
  • Monitor job costs closely to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Participate in necessary meetings, including pre-construction and project review sessions.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and all closeout documentation is submitted.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of background and drug screenings.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or sheet metal projects.
  • Relevant professional certifications and licenses.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
