Job Description:

Job Title: Youth Program Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Youth Program Coordinator to join our team at Bouldering Project. As a Youth Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating our youth programs, building strong relationships with participants, and ensuring a safe and inclusive climbing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Facilitation: Facilitate activities and games that promote learning and development in areas such as leadership, teamwork, grit, growth mindset, and goal setting.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Confidently lead and enforce safety protocols, clearly educate participants on rules and guidelines, and maintain composure in incident situations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents, provide regular feedback on curriculum, and collaborate with other facilitators to share responsibilities and support team needs.
  • Logistics and Administration: Ensure all necessary documents are collected for participants, manage Approach calendar functions, and maintain basic POS functions.
  • Supervision and Engagement: Supervise and engage children ages 4+ in a climbing environment, maintaining a sense of purpose and ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a passion for working with children and promoting their development.
