Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring all elements such as planning, coordination, execution, and budgeting are meticulously managed.
  • Enhance project profitability and efficiency by identifying cost-saving opportunities and adhering to deadlines.

Job Duties:
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications during the submittal process.
  • Collaborate with the General Superintendent to allocate appropriate manpower for project timelines.
  • Manage subcontractor schedules and performance.
  • Provide mentorship to team members regarding company policies and operational standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules.
  • Negotiate pricing and procure necessary materials and equipment to maximize quality and margins.
  • Handle all necessary permits, reviews, and approvals while keeping the team informed of any changes.
  • Regularly inspect job sites for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding warranty work and project closeout.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of billing processes.
  • Review and interpret construction documents and specifications.
  • Monitor project costs closely to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Participate in necessary meetings to discuss project progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and that closeout documentation is completed.

Qualifications:
Mandatory:
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or sheet metal industries.
  • Relevant professional certifications and licenses.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
