Position Overview:

Nightwing is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Manager of Pricing Operations. This pivotal position involves engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to support a variety of portfolios. The role is designed as a hybrid position, requiring the selected candidate to estimate repair materials and labor while also managing service pricing proposals and the services catalog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop intricate proposals by compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of previous repair data to accurately forecast future repair expenses.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of cost structures and apply appropriate pricing strategies.
  • Prepare detailed financial summaries that distill complex information into actionable insights for senior management.
  • Act as the primary contact for updates and additions to the services catalog.
  • Collaborate with contract teams to facilitate biannual audits of the services catalog.
  • Lead customer negotiations and support audit processes.
  • Work closely with leadership and various teams to gather essential information and promote informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate the financial implications of pricing strategies to ensure the accuracy of pricing data.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities in proposals.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Travel domestically as required, with expectations of less than 10% travel.

Qualifications Required:

  • A University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
  • Capability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.

  • Effective communication skills across all management levels.
  • Detail-oriented approach to financial calculations and analyses.
  • Experience with relevant software tools and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
