Position Overview:
Nightwing is seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Manager of Pricing Operations. This position involves engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to support various business segments. The selected candidate will be responsible for estimating costs related to repair materials and labor, as well as developing pricing strategies for service proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates and pricing proposals in compliance with industry regulations.
- Analyze historical repair data to forecast future costs accurately.
- Understand and apply cost structures and pricing methodologies to create competitive proposals.
- Prepare detailed financial reports that summarize key insights for management decision-making.
- Act as the primary liaison for updates and additions to the services catalog.
- Collaborate with contract management to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Lead discussions with customers and manage negotiations effectively.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and facilitate informed decisions.
- Evaluate the financial impact of pricing strategies and maintain data integrity.
- Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities within proposals.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and industry standards.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the pricing function.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
Qualifications:
- A University Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial analysis.
- Experience with financial software and tools.
- Knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting principles.
