Job Overview

The Retail Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing the daily retail functions of the store, which includes sales performance, customer service excellence, team leadership, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing sales and achieving key performance metrics.
  • Oversee store profitability by driving revenue growth and managing expense budgets effectively.
  • Apply product and visual merchandising strategies to optimize space utilization and boost sales.
  • Organize and manage in-store events and marketing campaigns to foster customer loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure proper inventory management practices, including receiving, transferring, and returning products.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team focused on customer experience.
  • Provide training and coaching to ensure adherence to customer service standards and company policies.
  • Handle store-level human resources tasks, including employee scheduling and timecard management.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experienced with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Knowledgeable in back-office operations, visual merchandising, and team recruitment/training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capable of managing and mentoring a diverse team.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in making independent decisions or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in retail management.
  • 4 years of experience in a customer service-oriented role.
