Role Summary

As a Front Desk Receptionist/Office Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a well-organized and efficient office environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient inquiries and correspondence effectively.
  • Implementing established protocols for prioritizing tasks and evaluating operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with clinic personnel to set performance benchmarks and monitor progress.
  • Ensuring cultural diversity is valued and integrated into the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support to healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners.
  • Complete all necessary documentation within specified organizational timelines.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to enhance clinic efficiency and productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
  • Maintain accurate records related to staff schedules and time reporting.
  • Assist in direct client care tasks, including filing and chart documentation.
  • Monitor and respond to voicemails and patient communications promptly.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to facilitate benefit enrollments for new employees.
  • Manage inventory of medical office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a healthcare-related field is preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in a healthcare setting is required.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to foster positive interpersonal relationships in diverse settings.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Experience with Electronic Health Records; familiarity with Athena is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
