Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Manager, Strategic Partnerships is responsible for managing, prospecting, and securing accounts within the designated territory, adhering to divisional standards, with a particular emphasis on the Strategic Partnerships sector.

This role involves crafting a sales strategy and implementing the corresponding action plan, with backing from the management team and departmental consensus.

The individual in this position will cultivate and sustain robust, positive relationships with clients, striving for increased sales and achieving set sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage all activities within the assigned territory, which includes:

  • Conducting account visits
  • Arranging travel logistics
  • Forecasting sales
  • Managing resources
  • Prioritizing accounts based on potential
  • Closing sales

This role encompasses a multi-state regional territory, necessitating frequent travel by air or land.


Account Management:
Deliver exceptional customer service and account management while ensuring sales and profitability in the assigned region.

Enhance sales and identify future opportunities through proactive outreach efforts.

Engage with accounts, qualify leads, secure presentations, and convert leads generated through prospecting.

Actively participate in relevant industry events, including trade shows, technology seminars, and association meetings.


Sales Strategy Development:
Formulate a sales strategy for the assigned territory and outline specific actions required to meet or exceed regional sales objectives.

Analyze current and prospective customers, providing actual and projected sales data in units/dollars by product.

Continuously monitor sales activities within the territory and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize sales efforts.

Provide insights to sales and marketing management for strategic planning.


Administrative Duties:
Submit monthly calendars and weekly sales reports detailing specific sales opportunities within the territory (closed, in progress, or inactive).

Maintain an updated and proactive calendar with all current and upcoming sales appointments.


Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 7 years in a sales role with client interaction; experience managing accounts in a defined region, preferably within the small to medium business sector; proven track record of driving business growth and increasing sales across assigned accounts.

At least 1 year of experience in the printer/scanner/labeling market or a similar industry; familiarity with industry trends and best practices.

Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of the "computer peripheral" sector (e.g., Printer/Fax/MFC products & solutions).

Experience with SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Other Skills:
Ability to maintain positive client relationships and effectively close sales.

Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer issues.
