Position Overview:
This position acts as a pivotal leader and "player-coach" within a team dedicated to payment innovation, encompassing both Value-Based Payment and traditional Fee-For-Service models. The selected candidate will spearhead the formulation and execution of departmental strategies while overseeing a group of subject-matter experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and strategic guidance to align with the organization's objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at optimizing value-based reimbursement opportunities.
- Support the operational execution of payment strategies, including Fee-For-Service models.
- Facilitate the advancement of provider contracting, payment frameworks, and other sophisticated reimbursement models.
- Manage and mentor project resources, offering direction and support to ensure peak performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including actuary, operations, legal, markets, segments, and business development to fulfill strategic goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Comprehensive knowledge of value-based care and Fee-For-Service reimbursement frameworks.

- Possesses a Master’s Degree.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee management responsibilities including hiring, coaching, performance management, and staff productivity.
- Plan, organize, staff, direct, and manage daily departmental operations; develop and implement necessary policies and programs.
- Lead strategic execution and transformational initiatives for the department, including team development, budgeting, forecasting, and training.
- Establish relationships with strategic partners, key stakeholders, and executive leaders to ensure successful engagement in initiatives.
- Assist executive leadership with budgeting, staff meetings, individual development plans, and resource management.
Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience as determined by the company.
- Preferred: None.

- Required: Minimum of 3 years in strategic leadership, program, or operational management.
