About the Role:
The Engagement and Partnerships Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission by fostering collaborative relationships with educational institutions and community organizations. This position is responsible for managing partnerships that enhance educational practices and support local schools. The incumbent will engage with various stakeholders to identify community needs and leverage resources effectively, including students and faculty who are eager to collaborate with community partners. A significant aspect of this role involves overseeing a tutoring initiative that connects well-prepared students with K12 schools to provide impactful academic support. The Manager will ensure alignment with best practices in tutoring, drive program enhancements, and establish metrics for success and reporting insights that can be utilized across the educational sector.
Key Responsibilities:
In alignment with the organization's strategic goals, the Engagement and Partnerships Manager will:
- Develop and maintain sustainable partnerships at both school and classroom levels, contributing to a collaborative educational environment.
- Coordinate efforts across various departments to enhance educational initiatives and community engagement.
- Facilitate connections between researchers and practitioners to transform educational policy and practice through collaborative efforts.
- Manage a high volume of projects efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed with attention to detail and quality.
- Utilize constituent relationship management tools to track engagement and partnership outcomes.
- Support a diverse and inclusive community by fostering an environment of respect and collaboration.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- A Master's degree in Education, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience in project management.
- Experience working within K12 educational settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with constituent relationship management software is advantageous.
Competencies:
- Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, coordinating input from multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement and ethical collaboration practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on accessibility for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools.
