Business Banking Sales Representative

Role Summary

As a Business Banking Sales Representative, you will collaborate closely with our business and commercial banking teams to promote and sell a range of business deposit products and services. Your focus will be on identifying potential clients for our Treasury Management and Merchant Services offerings, as well as loan products such as credit cards and checkline reserves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, aligning your efforts with community needs and our organizational goals for diverse lending.
  • Client Engagement: Actively reach out to customers, prospects, and referral sources to foster relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Community Representation: Serve as an ambassador for the Bank within the community, identifying potential opportunities for community reinvestment.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients to uncover sales opportunities and address customer needs effectively.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks associated with credit and operational activities.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in sales, financial services, or lending is required. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience will be considered.

Additional Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is necessary, as the role involves frequent travel to meet clients.
  • Completion of federal registration and annual renewal as mandated by the SAFE Act is required.

Preferred Skills:

In-depth knowledge of various bank deposit products and their benefits, along with strong sales and referral skills to effectively promote the Bank's offerings.
