Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Applications Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing activities associated with file transfers, production control, and scheduling in a business environment. You will also be responsible for managing and developing activities for a group, section or product, and for conducting feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of applications, systems and programs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage activities associated with file transfers, production control, and scheduling in a business environment
  • Responsible for management and development activities for a group, section or product
  • Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of applications, systems and programs
  • Lead a fast-paced team with daily and project-based tasks
  • Manage a team with defined SLAs on a 24x7 basis
  • Experience required with IBM Sterling B2Bi, IBM Partner Community Manager, & IBM Partner Engagement Manager
  • Experience required with SFTP, FTPS, & PGP technologies
  • Experience required in a Linux/AIX environment
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other major ticketing systems
  • Preferred experience with Progress Messageway
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with major in IS or Management required
  • Major in Information Systems or Management strongly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of systems and development and project management
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Leadership/management/motivational skills
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
