Project Overview:

We are collaborating with Westinghouse Electric Company to deliver the first AP1000 nuclear power reactors in Poland. As the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor, we are responsible for the design of the Turbine Island and Balance of Plant, as well as the construction of the entire facility.

Job Summary:

In this position, you will assess end-user requirements, review existing software applications, and develop and troubleshoot software solutions within a collaborative team environment. Your role will involve creating specifications, designing database schemas, writing unit test cases, and participating in peer reviews. Your contributions will be vital in optimizing application performance to meet business needs.


Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Development Analyst, you will closely collaborate with the Project Information Manager to support the development of the project's information management system and Common Data Environment (CDE) to achieve project objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the development efforts to enable and ensure the functionality of the CDE.
  • Working directly with the Business Analyst throughout the software development lifecycle from design to implementation.
  • Facilitating the ingestion of data into the CDE and delivering information to meet project execution goals.
  • Collaborating with the PIM Reporting Lead to fulfill project reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the project team in utilizing the CDE as the primary source of project data.
  • Identifying and implementing innovative technical solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Operating in an agile environment to swiftly bring solutions into production.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience, or 6-9 years of relevant work experience is required.


Required Knowledge and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to pass nuclear security screening and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear facility.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Willingness to work in designated locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of software development experience.
  • 4 years of database development experience using SQL Server, Oracle, or Graph databases.
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps/Power BI or similar environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge in technologies such as Graph/neo4j, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.
  • Proven experience with SQL and T-SQL.
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., REACT, Angular).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/ECMAScript, Perl, Python, and C# ASP.NET MVC.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies and deployments.
  • Experience with data integration and orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with code repositories and version control.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience with Agile project management techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management abilities.
  • Understanding of EPC execution tools is a bonus.
