Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and define solution scope and objectives based on user needs, considering technical environment and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain application integration points, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate data usage.
  • Lead application software version upgrades and modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Oversee small projects or phases of larger projects, coordinating activities and identifying necessary resources.
  • Document specifications, including job flows and data flows, to ensure effective communication and understanding.
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of products and technical environments to effectively support customers.
  • Work with vendors to design and code enhancements to applications, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Act as a customer advocate with vendor development, ensuring customer needs are met.
  • Identify opportunities for automating enterprise information needs, providing reports and data files as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in Information Systems or a relevant functional area, with a deep understanding of technical computer operations in a client/server environment.
  • Two (2) years of IT project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with Star Patient Accounting and HL7 Integration is a plus.
  • Professional/clinical licensure (RN, ARRT, etc.) may be required based on assigned applications.
