Position Overview

Members of the Information Technology Services team are tasked with the secure management of information systems throughout their lifecycle. This includes understanding the scope of their responsibilities, recognizing sensitive data, enforcing security principles, and being aware of potential information security incidents. The role involves designing information systems that cater to user needs while aligning with the overall architecture of the organization.

Under general supervision, the team member will gather and analyze user information to define system objectives. Responsibilities include preparing flow charts, models, and procedures, as well as conducting feasibility studies to propose viable system solutions. The analyst will document system and configuration specifications to ensure that the implemented system meets user requirements and will maintain technical documentation to support ongoing operations and development.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, with preference given to candidates with two years of experience as an Epic Security Analyst or similar roles.
  • Licensure/Certification: Candidates must obtain application systems certification and pass all certification tests within three attempts.
  • Essential Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, providers, and end users. Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to research and implement solutions are also required. Some travel to various locations may be necessary, as well as attendance at on-site meetings.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with Epic PM and EHR systems, as well as familiarity with provider interactions.
