Overview

Members of the Information Technology Services team are tasked with the secure management of information systems throughout their lifecycle. This includes understanding the information systems within their purview, recognizing the sensitive data involved, enforcing security principles such as least privilege and least functionality, identifying potential information security incidents, and comprehending their role in incident response activities. The team member will design information systems tailored to user needs while remaining consistent with the organization's overall information systems architecture.

Under general supervision, the team member will gather and analyze input from system users to define the scope and objectives of the system. Responsibilities include preparing flow charts, models, and procedures, conducting feasibility studies to propose system solutions, and drafting system and configuration specifications to ensure user needs are met upon implementation. The role also involves maintaining technical documentation to assist users and support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.

Resources data housed in Epic will include demographics, insurance, and records for team members, nursing homes, NH Link, and provider enrollment for billing accuracy. This position is remote, with applicants required to reside in specific states.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, Required.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience, Required. Preferred experience includes two years as an Epic Security Analyst or similar Epic Analyst role.
  • Licensure/Certification: Must obtain application systems certification, passing all tests within three attempts.
  • Additional Skills (required): Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical teams, providers, leaders, and end users. Creative problem-solving skills, including the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex challenges. Capability to research, test, and implement solutions. Willingness to travel to various locations as required, including attendance at on-site meetings.
