Position Overview
This ongoing job posting aims to gather applications for teaching roles within the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) programs in Addictions Counseling and Integrated Behavioral Health. The selected candidates will provide instruction for graduate-level courses, typically ranging from two to three credits.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Graduate Studies to ensure the effective integration of essential coursework and adherence to state licensing standards.
- Leverage industry knowledge and stay updated on research, workforce trends, and ethical practices in mental health and substance use counseling to enhance course content.
- Implement innovative technologies to improve curriculum delivery and accessibility for adult learners.
- Employ effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse adult student populations.
- Maintain availability for scheduled classes, including evenings and weekends, and respond to student inquiries within a 48-hour timeframe.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to engage successfully with diverse groups.

Qualifications
Required:
- A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- A Master’s degree in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, mental health counseling, community counseling, counselor education, or social work from an accredited institution.
- At least 7 years of clinical practice or agency management experience in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience in teaching or clinical practice in areas such as co-occurring care, assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based counseling skills.

Preferred:
- An earned doctorate in a relevant field.
- Licensure as a professional clinician or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota.
- A minimum of 5 semesters of teaching experience in higher education with strong student evaluations.
- At least 10 years of clinical practice or agency management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
