Position Overview:
The Department of Psychiatry at UNMC in Omaha, NE is seeking a qualified addiction psychiatrist to enhance our faculty. This distinctive role involves a blend of responsibilities between a dynamic Addiction Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service and a comprehensive outpatient addiction psychiatry practice, which includes overseeing a genuine dual diagnosis outpatient program.
The Psychiatry Department and Addiction Division are expanding, currently comprising an outpatient addiction psychiatrist, two board-certified addiction medicine psychiatrists managing the consult service, and a pediatrician and emergency medicine physician, all certified in addiction medicine.

Required Qualifications:
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
