Role Overview: The Healthcare Account Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering territory expansion and enhancing the profitability of laboratory sales. This position is integral to delivering outstanding service and resolving challenges across multiple sales territories. Collaboration with Physician Account Executives is crucial to our cooperative selling strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to assess service, logistics, and supply needs.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure customer loyalty.
  • Drive growth initiatives within assigned Key Accounts.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling in partnership with Physician Account Executives or Specialty Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the Physician Account Executive to address specific service-related issues.
  • Work alongside the Customer Solutions Group to prioritize and resolve customer service challenges.
  • Escalate unresolved service issues as necessary.
  • Utilize all available tools and resources, including data analytics, sales portals, and regional support, to enhance performance.
  • Provide ongoing education to clients regarding new technologies and laboratory testing advancements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Complete all administrative duties accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up communications with Physician Account Executives and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of three to four years in sales or account management.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the Healthcare Industry, particularly in laboratory diagnostics, and an understanding of business economics.
  • Skills: Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, alongside excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required.
