Position Summary:

The role involves assisting in the comprehensive management of the accounts receivable process. This position requires collaboration with various management levels to ensure timely payment of invoices and minimize uncollectible amounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the collection of accounts receivable through effective communication.
  • Coordinate with operations to gather opening costs and client deposits.
  • Verify and input accounts receivable data from contracts into the SAP system.
  • Monitor repayment plans for specific units.
  • Maintain and update various Excel spreadsheets.
  • Assist in processing account receivable payments as necessary.
  • Initiate refund requests for credit balances.
  • Perform maintenance tasks within the SAP Accounts Receivable system.
  • Collaborate with operations regarding uncollectible amounts.
  • Provide accounts receivable data to field staff as needed.
  • Assist with billing reconciliations and accounting inquiries.
  • Prepare journal entries when required.
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting or Business with a focus on accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Credit Accounting, preferably in a customer-centric environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Excel and capable of working under tight deadlines.
  • Quick learner with a self-motivated attitude.
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous.
  • Positive demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with associates and management.
