Position Summary:
As a Technical Engineering Specialist, you will be integral in facilitating engineering functions by aiding in the design, development, testing, and upkeep of diverse systems and products. Collaborating closely with engineers and other technical experts, you will assist in executing projects and ensuring the effective operation of equipment and processes. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Assistance: Deliver practical technical support in the assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of engineering systems and components.
  • Testing and Analysis: Execute tests and experiments, gather and interpret data, and aid in the assessment of prototypes and products to confirm they align with established standards and specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise and comprehensive records of tests, procedures, and results. Produce technical reports and contribute to the documentation of engineering methodologies.
  • Equipment Upkeep: Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of engineering tools and equipment to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside engineers, project leaders, and other team members to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing designs, processes, and project results.
  • Prototype Development: Engage in the creation and assembly of prototypes, assisting in the refinement of designs based on testing outcomes and feedback.
  • Safety Adherence: Comply with safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure working environment. Promptly report any safety issues or incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in engineering technology, electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with engineering tools, equipment, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of CAD software for basic design tasks.
  • Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Experience in the assembly and testing of electronic components.
