Key Responsibilities:

Deliver care as instructed by a nursing supervisor, which includes:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and oral care.
  • Supporting dressing and undressing activities.
  • Facilitating toileting needs and recording vital signs.
  • Helping with height and weight measurements when necessary.

Provide assistance in accordance with the patient's care plan, including but not limited to:

  • Feeding and meal preparation.
  • Linen changes and light housekeeping.
  • Transportation to medical appointments and engaging in outdoor activities.
  • Shopping assistance.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid state certification in good standing.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program.
  • Certified in CPR and possess a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Preferred: Minimum one (1) year of documented healthcare experience.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an insured and reliable vehicle.
