Job Summary

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Health Services Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting with daily operations to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care and Outcomes: Work closely with the manager to develop and implement plans to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Allocate Human and Fiscal Resources: Assist with the allocation of resources to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Communicate Effectively: Coordinate communication with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure seamless care and operations.
  • Support Staff Development: Assist with the selection, development, and retention of staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with Manager: Work closely with the manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as all required regulations and policies.
  • Round on Patients and Staff: Regularly round on patients and staff to gain insight into patient care and employee satisfaction.
  • Delegate Care: Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters.
  • Evaluate Progress: Assist in evaluating progress towards goal attainment and disseminate information to teammates involved in the care or situation.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing: Must have a degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Minimum Two Years Nursing Experience: Preferably two years of nursing experience.
  • BLS Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required per policy guidelines.
