Position Summary

The role involves supporting the operations of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte. You will be responsible for managing incoming calls and assisting visitors while providing essential administrative support to various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Incoming Communications
    • Handle all incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel and ensuring messages are accurately relayed.
    • Welcome and assist all visitors to the facility.
  • Provide Administrative Assistance
    • Offer light administrative support to leadership and other departments as needed.
  • Maintain Communication Systems
    • Oversee the phone pool calendar and coordinate quarterly support meetings as necessary.
    • Train new staff on phone support protocols.
  • Perform Additional Duties
    • Uphold the professional reputation of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate new practices into your work.
  • Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably within a healthcare environment. Familiarity with hospice care principles is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with required typing skills.
  • Availability on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
