The role involves supporting the operations of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte. You will be responsible for managing incoming calls and assisting visitors while providing essential administrative support to various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Incoming Communications
- Handle all incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel and ensuring messages are accurately relayed.
- Welcome and assist all visitors to the facility.
- Provide Administrative Assistance
- Offer light administrative support to leadership and other departments as needed.
- Maintain Communication Systems
- Oversee the phone pool calendar and coordinate quarterly support meetings as necessary.
- Train new staff on phone support protocols.
- Perform Additional Duties
- Uphold the professional reputation of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate new practices into your work.
- Other Duties as Assigned
Essential Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an office setting, preferably within a healthcare environment. Familiarity with hospice care principles is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with required typing skills.
- Availability on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
